Use recycled paper

The per capital paper consumption in Germany in 2009 was 226 kilograms per year. This makes Germany one of the world’s leaders in paper consumption. If all 6.9 billion people had this paper consumption and all forests in the world would not be sufficient to cover this paper demand.

Must it be the ultra-soft toilet paper from Brazilian eucalyptus plantations for which rainforests have been cleared and people driven off their land? Certainly not. You can recognize good recycled paper by the blue angel. The criteria for awarding the Blue Angel are regularly adapted to the latest available environmental standards.
